Two International Design Awards at Batimat in Paris for the “ARTE” Thermally Broken Steel Window Profile

VANCOUVER, BC – April 2012 Dynamic Architectural Windows & Doors is proud to announce that the “ARTE” thermally broken steel window & door profile enjoyed double success, winning two awards at this year’s international construction design exhibition.

The Batimat Building Exhibition in Paris is one of the most important international tradeshows for the construction industry, showcasing innovative technical solutions that characterize sustainable construction and renovation projects. The international “Innovation & Design” competitions are an integral part of the Batimat exhibition, drawing a large number of entries from around the world.

In the most recent competition, Jansen Steel, Dynamic’s thermally broken steel window system partner submitted their newest “ARTE” profile, which took top honors as the winner of the “Gold Award for Innovation” and “Bronze Award for Design” in the Joinery & Fenestration category.

The ARTE window & door is a narrow thermally broken cold rolled steel profile designed by Jansen Steel of Switzerland and is exclusively manufactured and distributed in North America by Dynamic Architectural Windows & Doors under the brand name “Steel-Arte”.

The award winning profile offers superior thermal performance by incorporating a unique insulating composite between the narrow interior and exterior steel profiles. Designed to replicate the narrow historic steel profiles of yesterday, the Steel-Arte design meets today’s performance expectations.
